Drainage

The process of draining a specific region involves removing both surface and subsurface water. In order to prevent land saturation and damage to residences, businesses, and agricultural land, the water can then be diverted to rivers, streams, and beach outflows. Excess water must be evacuated during especially severe weather to prevent damage to structures, possible floods, and dangers like car accidents brought on by vehicles hydroplaning. In order to remove surface and subsurface water from highways and urban environments, drainage is a crucial component of building. The project team, consisting of civil engineers, construction managers, architects, site managers, and surveyors, must take this into consideration when doing any kind of planning.
